Like a lot of people, I was watching TV with friends on New Years eve when this commercial came on. Within a few seconds the commercial had caught everyone's attention. After the final reveal, there were a lot of acknowledging nods and hmm's.
Excuses are something we can all relate to, especially this time of year when we ponder new goals and priorities for the new year. We think about how much more we could have done, how much fuller our lives would be if we didn't let excuses get in the way.
Going into 2008, I resolve to focus on the things that are really important. One area especially that I want to work on is making relationships a priority. I want to invest more deeply in my time into the lives of people around me. I resolve to not let excuses like "I'm too busy", "I've got stuff to do", or "I just don't feel like it" get in the way of growing with others, helping people and simply just being there.
