My new job: Fish Wrangler

Judy was recently helping out with a local film production called "The Bill Collector". It so happened that they had a few key scenes that involved some people interacting with an aquarium. Well, they had an aquarium set up on set, but were having problems with the fish not doing so well.

Knowing I am a big fish nerd, Judy asked me to go in help out. On film sets, the person who works with animals is known as the "wrangler," so I became quickly known as "The Fish Wrangler." "Who's that guy?" someone would say. "Oh, he's the Fish Wrangler." They might even give me a line in the credits when it's done. I was able to hook them up with some common goldfish and red shubunkins which all worked out pretty well.

So, if I ever need another line of work, "fish wrangler" might just be it. We'll see about that.

Check out the film blog post about me.
